HOT WIRE: The Journal of Women’s Music & Culture was the essential publication to read during the 1980's and 90's. Every issue was jam-packed with with insightful information, interviews, commentary, and photos, as publisher/editor Toni Armstrong Jr. and talented staff and contributors reported on and documented a movement and an era.
The remaining back issues are still treasure troves of information about the women who did, and in many cases still do, make the movement happen. If you are a music fan, feminist, archivist or music herstorian, or a lover of this culture of any sort, and do not own these already, we urge you to take advantage of this opportunity! Limited quantities, of course.
