Welcome to another one of the many faces that is Danielle Howle. On this 1998 release Danielle is backed (for the second time) by what could be called her electric project, The Tantrums, taking her sound to a much more refined expression of what she wants to do with her music... a story set to rock/ folk/ country/ funk sounds. Throw her amazing vocals into the mix and there you have it...a sound that is all her own while maintaining a semblance to what is already known within the mainstream. Hey now... I'm not saying that she is mainstream, but I don't expect it to take much longer before she becomes recognized as a force in womyn's music. Highly recommended!
