History

Formed in 2004, the New York City quartet, created and headed by guitarist Steph Paynes, has been featured on VH1, MTV, CNN, FUSE and CBS Good Morning, among other major news networks and has been the subject of full-length features in leading magazines and daily papers across the world due to a PR stunt where the group was confused with LED Zeppelin's appearance at an American music festival.

The members (Brigantino, Paynes, Gengras, Kidd) were featured on the cover of the June 2005 issue of Spin magazine. Steph Paynes was interviewed by Brian Ibbott on Coverville June 8, 2007 in episode #330.

It was announced on January 5, 2009 that members Sarah McLellan, Helen Destroy and Lisa Brigantino were leaving to pursue other projectshttphttp

Album

The band consisting of Brigantino, Paynes, McLellan and Destroy recorded an album that contains six Led Zeppelin covers and two originals. The music was recorded with producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, best known for his work with Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, and was mastered by George Marino, who digitally remastered all of the original Led Zeppelin recordings with Jimmy Page. The album, released on Emanation Records, is distributed by Redeye Distribution.
