Somewhere between Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Rocky Horror Picture Show we find this 1994 Stonewall commemorative CD-EP release. 4 songs penned by Tom Wilson Weinberg are all themed around the Stonewall 25 demonstration/ celebration, each addressing a different facet of the movement. Various lead singers (Jan Tilley, Wayne Barker, NYC Gay Men's Chorus Chamber Choir, and Tina Benez & Plato) bring to life tunes with titles like Bricks and Bottles (with a scorching rock vocal performance by Jan Tilley), Safe Sex Slut, and Before Stonewall. Title track comes in 2 versions, since no Stonewall commemorative release would be complete without a good dance mix.
