This 1997 release has a more urban feel to it than past recordings, with a very eclectic, jazzy-blues sound. There are the various percussive instruments we've come to expect from Gabrielle Roth, along with more traditional instuments such as cello, violin, and some very excellent trumpet playing on Downtown. All combine to create an undeniable body-shaking rhythm that has me tapping my toes and swiveling my chair as I write this.
