The material on this CD was recorded at Indipop studios during 1983 (the album released under the same title) and 1985 (4 tracks from the LP Nada Brahma).. Sheila very quickly ascended to the top of the just-then emerging Asian Fusion scene, and this contains some of the first music she made 'out on her own' after her famous recordings with Monsoon; continuing with a similar style of 'Indipop,' her signature blend of house with elements of Hindi traditional and film music still mesmerizes. Includes Village Girl, Unchanged Malady.
