Lauded for her voice and lyrical strengths in her previous three recordings, Edie adds cracker-jane production on this, her forth. All the world, it seems, is going down a lovely, heartfelt, alt-country-contemporary-folk path these days. Count Edie right there with Bonnie and Lucinda (Raitt and Williams), but hold up a generation or so.
