Her deep voice and thick country melodies make this 1998 release one of the most entertaining country releases we've seen in a while -- it's easy to imagine every song being sung along to, in a dimly lit saloon. Her songs are delivered with just the right mix of pop bounce and twang. She duets with Merle Haggard on No One Is Gonna Love You better, and covers the Charley Pride hit Kiss An Angel Good Morning. And, of course, what country album would be complete without some ironic humor, as in Rock at the End of My Rainbow? So get out your spurs and chaps, and two-step your troubles away.
